At the 2026 FIFA Men’s World Cup, SoFi Stadium will host two group stage matches for the US Men’s National Team.
The USMNT will play their first World Cup match on June 12 at Inglewood Stadium, the home of the NFL’s Rams and Chargers. On June 25, they will play their third group match. On June 19, the USMNT will play their second group match in Seattle.

The stadium will host CONMEBOL Copa America games later this summer.
According to sources, FIFA was considering leaving SoFi Stadium because of its size. FIFA regulations stipulate that stadiums must hold 80,000 spectators or more, and the field is smaller than FIFA regulations.
According to a press release from the stadium, the stadium will “undergo improvements” beginning this week, so it looks like all of that is in the past.
WrestleMania 39 and other concerts by artists such The Rolling Stones, Bad Bunny, The Weeknd, Taylor Swift, Metallica, and Beyonce have all taken place at SoFi Stadium.
Rather than the 32-team structure that has been in use since 1988, this World Cup will be the first to have 48 teams. There will be twelve groups of four teams each.
The number of games in the tournament will also grow from 64 to 104.
The competition gets underway on June 11 at Mexico City’s Estadio Azteca, where Mexico will host.
Jaime Lozano, the coach of the Mexican national team, said, “We’re really delighted being here in Azteca,” to the FS1 broadcast. It will be a memorable day for the national team and me to be here with the supporters.
Playoffs for Canada’s national team will begin in Toronto on June 12.
Canada will play in Toronto and Vancouver, while Mexico will play its group stage matches in Mexico. Thirteen games will be played in Mexico and thirteen in Canada overall.
According to FIFA President Gianni Infantino, “Toronto is a beautiful city, with a great soccer tradition.”
