Breaking: Doc Rivers had a brutal quote about the Bucks after a bad loss

Milwaukee Bucks coach Doc Rivers delivered a harsh critique of his team following their loss to the Memphis Grizzlies on Thursday. The Bucks, who have now lost five of their last seven games, were defeated 113-110 by a depleted Memphis squad. Rivers expressed disappointment in his team’s performance, suggesting that some players were mentally checked out with the All-Star break approaching. He remarked, “We had some guys here. We had some guys in Cabo.”

Since taking over as head coach from Adrian Griffin, Rivers has a record of 3-7. Despite the mid-season coaching change, the team’s performance has not improved. Rivers had previously stated that the Bucks lacked an identity and needed to establish one. However, the team has not made progress in this area. As they approach the second half of the season, the Bucks have much to consider and improve upon.
