Breaking: Justin Fields Reveals 1 Problem About Potentially Playing for Atlanta Falcons Amid Trade Rumors

Justin Fields, the Chicago Bears quarterback, has recently been linked to the Atlanta Falcons, and it seems he would be open to a trade to his home state. However, he does foresee one potential issue if this were to happen.

Given that he hails from Georgia, specifically Kennesaw, he anticipates his phone being inundated with messages from family and friends seeking tickets to games. The buzz surrounding Fields’ potential move to the Falcons began after he unfollowed the Bears on Instagram and started following several Atlanta players, including Kyle Pitts, Drake London, and Bijan Robinson.

Fields explained that he unfollowed the Bears because he wanted to avoid football content on his social media feed. However, he still followed players from another team who would likely post about football during the offseason. Despite this, when asked about the possibility of joining the Falcons, Fields expressed openness to the idea. He acknowledged one humorous downside to returning home, though.

“Atlanta would be tough; the only downside of going back home is the constant barrage of people hitting my phone for tickets to games,” Fields said during an interview with The 33rd Team. “But I think they have a lot of playmakers on the team. Of course, Bijan (Robinson), they’ve got my boy Kyle (Pitts), and of course, Drake (London) too. They probably need one more receiver, but they definitely have some talented players over there.”

It would be intriguing to see Fields play for the Falcons, as Atlanta is in need of a quarterback, and Fields’ dual-threat abilities could be a good fit for their system. Additionally, the team has several weapons that could make his job easier.

However, it remains uncertain where Fields will ultimately end up. The odds of the Falcons trading for Fields from the Bears have increased significantly following his social media activity. The Falcons now have the second-best odds of acquiring him at +150, behind only the QB-needy Pittsburgh Steelers at -120.

Given Fields’ ties to Atlanta and the city’s connection to him, it’s understandable that he might want to join the team. Ultimately, though, the decision lies with the Bears, who will seek the best possible return in any trade involving Fields.
