Update: Latest on Horner Probe and Alonso’s Ominous Verstappen Forecast

The investigation into Christian Horner, the team principal of Red Bull, is expected to conclude this week, according to information obtained by RacingNews365. This investigation was initiated by Red Bull GmbH, the parent company of Red Bull F1, following an allegation of inappropriate behavior made by a female employee against Horner in February.

Fernando Alonso, a Formula 1 driver, has expressed his belief that the F1 grid does not expect to win the Drivers’ Championship due to the performance of Max Verstappen and Red Bull during the Bahrain pre-season test. Verstappen, a Dutch driver, is seeking his fourth consecutive title after a dominant performance last season, where he set a new record for the most wins in a single season.

The new boss of the Haas F1 team, Ayao Komatsu, is aware that if he does not provide competitive cars to drivers Kevin Magnussen and Nico Hulkenberg this season, they may choose to leave the team. Komatsu, who has taken over from Guenther Steiner, faces a challenging situation as several drivers are out of contract at the end of the season.

George Russell, a Formula 1 driver, has admitted that the cooling vent tested by Mercedes during pre-season testing would have had little impact on the extreme temperatures experienced during last year’s Qatar Grand Prix. Drivers endured temperatures of at least 36 degrees Celsius during the race.

Lewis Hamilton, a Formula 1 driver, has revealed that Mercedes dismissed his feedback as “wrong” during the team’s struggles over the past two seasons. Mercedes has only won one race under the latest technical regulations, with George Russell winning the 2022 São Paulo Grand Prix.

Max Verstappen has been nominated for the Laureus World Sports Awards’ Sportsman of the Year. Verstappen won his third F1 Drivers’ Championship last season, setting a new record for the most wins in a single season.
