Breaking: Bucks add to their dominance of Hornets this season…

In a dominant display, the Milwaukee Bucks secured a decisive 123-85 victory over the visiting Charlotte Hornets on Tuesday night, further asserting their dominance over their opponents this season.

Giannis Antetokounmpo led the charge with 24 points, while Damian Lillard contributed 23 points along with nine rebounds and seven assists. Bobby Portis made a significant impact off the bench with 21 points and eight rebounds, supported by Jae Crowder’s 10 points and seven rebounds for the Bucks.

Despite Charlotte’s efforts, led by Miles Bridges with 17 points and contributions from Tre Mann and Brandon Miller, the game quickly slipped out of their grasp. Milwaukee seized control early with a commanding 20-2 run in the first quarter, establishing a 24-11 lead. Antetokounmpo and Lillard combined for 25 points in the opening quarter.

The second quarter saw the Bucks’ defense stifling Charlotte’s offense, holding them scoreless for over eight minutes and limiting them to a mere two points in the final 10:25 of the half. Milwaukee entered halftime with an imposing 58-26 lead, marking the Hornets’ lowest first-half point total of the season.

Milwaukee continued their offensive onslaught in the third quarter, scoring 38 points while shooting an impressive 60.9 percent from the field. With a comfortable lead, the Bucks’ starters saw limited action as their advantage ballooned to 49 points.

The Bucks’ dominance extended beyond this game, with this victory marking the fifth time in seven games that they held their opponents under 100 points. Notably, Milwaukee has achieved this feat against Charlotte three times this season, all resulting in wins by margins exceeding 30 points.

The two teams will meet again on Thursday night in Charlotte to conclude their season series.
