Breaking: Falcons outline shocking potentials Kyle Pitts can rent to skyrocket the game

The Atlanta Falcons have undergone a significant transformation with a new coaching staff at the helm, and this change is also reflected in their approach to utilizing tight end Kyle Pitts. Pitts, who has already amassed impressive stats with 149 catches for 2,049 yards and six touchdowns in his first three seasons, is known for his ability to create mismatches as a receiver due to his size and athleticism. Traditionally, Pitts has been deployed as a wide receiver, while other tight ends on the Falcons’ roster have taken on blocking duties. However, the new coaching staff is signaling a shift in this strategy.

According to offensive coordinator Zac Robinson, Pitts is more than capable of playing the traditional tight end role, and tight end coach Kevin Koger has indicated that the team has plans to utilize Pitts effectively in the run game as well. Koger emphasized that while Pitt’s receiving skills are undeniable, his athleticism also makes him a valuable asset in the run game, where he can contribute to the team’s success in various ways. Koger hinted at the possibility of seeing Pitts in different positions on the field, not just as a wide receiver but also in the box, where he can make an impact in both the passing and running games.

The Falcons are currently faced with a decision regarding Pitt’s fifth-year option, and choosing to exercise it would be a strong indication of their confidence in Pitt’s ability to fulfill the roles they have envisioned for him in the 2024 season.
