Breaking: Lewis Hamilton delivers a succinct verdict on Red Bull’s new 2024 car after Bahrain testing

In 2023, the 39-year-old driver, who was the top performer among the non-Red Bull drivers, was unable to secure a victory due to Red Bull’s dominance. This likely influenced his decision to join Ferrari in 2025, where he hopes to have a better chance of winning his eighth world title. Early indications suggest that Red Bull is poised to maintain its dominance. When asked about the new Red Bull, the driver simply stated that they were “out in the distance” compared to his Mercedes. Adrian Newey, Red Bull’s design guru, is reportedly very impressed with a specific component of the driver’s 2024 Mercedes. While this may provide a slight advantage over their competitors, the overall RB20 package appears to be unstoppable. Sergio Perez experienced some reliability issues during the three-day test in Bahrain, which may give the rest of the grid some hope for the 2024 season. However, we have likely not yet seen the car’s full potential. The lap times set by Verstappen or Perez in qualifying on Friday will provide a better indication of how far ahead Red Bull is at the beginning of this season.
